More than a marketing campaign, the Make Your World Bigger brand promise drove levels of engagement with new and existing audiences, re-shaped commissioning, scheduling and social strategies, revitalised internal culture and re-invigorated advertising and affiliate relationships. Viewing grew 8%; Facebook fans up ten-fold to 2.5m; new brand partnerships delivered double-digit growth. Media Week named Discovery as Media Brand of the Year, ahead of Twitter and Instagram.
